Thirlmere View Reviews

Great location. Fantastic lodge, well kept and spacious.
Absolutely lovely lodge with all the amenities you could want. The hot tub was lovely, clean and well maintained and the roof terrace was a really nice area to catch the evening sun. Great holiday park, pool opening hours on site are a bit disappointing, but thats not something in the lodge owners control. Overall Id highly recommend the lodge to anyone and look forward to hopefully staying again in the future.
Very clean, modern and welcoming lodge! Cosy lodge with plenty of space and a nice private decking area with hot tub! Communication was easy with the owner and made everything very simple! Will be booking again for next year!
The property is lovely. Very homely and since last time we stayed, there have been some improvements to the lodge which are to a high standard and add to the overall welcoming feel. Communication with the owner via the app has been great too! We are repeat bookers of this beautiful place, and would highly recommend.

Very spacious and comfortable lodge for 2 adults and 4 teenagers. Beds very comfy. A lovely private terrace with hot tub and a roof terrace to sit out on with views of the lake. The caravan park was peaceful with a restaurant, bar and evening entertainment for all ages. Great location inbetween Ambleside and BownessonWindermere. Only a 10 minute walk to Zip World. Definitely recommend.
Lovely lodge, perfect for what we required. We love White Cross Bay. Clean, tidy, and well equipped, hot tub was simple to use.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our 2 week stay at this wonderful lodge on White Cross Bay. We were able to relax in between our outings to such as Brokhole, just a 15 minute walk, Fell Foot, Lakeland Maize Farm and various other places. The rooftop deck area provided a fantastic vantage point for daytime and night time relaxation and the hot tub was used many times especially after some kayaking out on Windermere Lake at the site. The owner kindly contacted us during our stay to see if we needed a change of bedding or fresh towels as we were staying the 2 weeks which was appreciated. Highly recommended and hoping to book again in future years.
