Absolutely amazing stay, loved every minute! Was recommended to book by my mum and stepdad, who surprised us when they said there is also a sauna which was a lovely bonus. Very clean and comfortable which made for a wonderful stay. The owner was so helpful and on hand if we needed anything, they provided a handy guide on the Richmond area and best walks in the area as well. Amazing, would always book again!!

Amazing place! Weve just stayed in Woodland View for 4 nights and loved it! The owners have paid attention to detail which makes it a fabulous little place to stay. It has everything you need plus the hot tub and sauna which looks like a mini spa!. Prosecco on arrival, plenty of towels, robes, flip flops, comfy bed and well equipped kitchen.

The hoilday property was beautiful. I couldn't ask for. Anything more and My wife loved it. The pictures in the brochure do need updating as they don't do the property justice. We love are stay and would definitely stop again

Woodland View is a little gem of a holiday cottage. The accommodation is perfect, equipt with everything you could possibly need, beautifully decorated and a really comfy bed. The hot tub and sauna are the icing on the cake, located in a lovely private spot at the side where you can have a soak and chill at the end of the day. We had a lovely relaxing week and have already booked to return next year!

What an amazing place! Perfect location, and top class accommodation. We booked Woodland View for our first ever get away at Christmas and everything was just perfect. We have just returned from a wonderful 2 night stay at Woodland View. The accommodation is fantastic. It is clean and cosy and had all of the amenities needed for a short stay. The hot tub area and sauna is a great extra. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and the added touch of prosecco and chocolates was very much appreciated. I would 100 recommend this accommodation and would definitely stay again.

Fabulous accommodation, the owner has thought of everything you would need for a relaxing cosy break in the countryside, including private gardens to enjoy the better weather, the sauna & hot tub are a fantastic tonic after a game of golf or a country walk . 19 to 26 April 2024 We enjoyed a perfect week's holiday at Woodland View. Immaculately clean and very tastefully decorated and furnished. Loved the hot tub and lounging chairs in the shelteredheated area. Location is a great hub for discovering the area and Richmond itself has all the historical interests and walks you could want. Had a fantastic stay at Woodland View for our wedding anniversary. The appartment was superb and we appreciated the wine and chocolates. It was clean and well thought out, the weather was really poor so we couldn't go out on walks as we imagined but it was just lovely to stay in nice and cosy and because the hot tub and sauna were under cover we used those lots. We met Angie briefly and she was lovely and was on hand should we have any problems. All in all we thoughrouly enjoyed our stay. We had some nice meals out both at The Station down the road and also in Richmond.

We had a lovely couple days at woodland view. The apartment was excellently furnished. Warm and cosy. Amazing hot tub and sauna. We loved the little touch of a bottle of Prosecco and Ferraro Roche on arrival. Their little information folder was full of great little things from instructions to local walks to restaurants and helpful parking info and a disc to park in Richmond. Perfectly located just outside Richmond. It was perfect little get away for us and loved every minute of our stay.

This is a recommended day out for families with young children visiting the Bedale area of Yorkshire. Visit the farm and receive a warm welcome as well as a guided tour. You will have the chance to bottle feed the lambs, bath a pig and handle some of the smaller animals. Kids will love the big sandpit and the outdoor play area. There is also a cafe and indoor play area for when the weather is not on your side.

Lightwater Valley - HG4 3HT

about 15 Miles

Situated in the Ripon area of North Yorkshire this popular theme park makes a fantastic day out for the whole family. The more daring will love the big and thrilling rides such as Raptor Attack, The Ultimate and Trauma Tower. For the little ones there are some excellent attractions such as Flying Camels, Dodgems and a Magic Wheel. Toddlers will like the Dragon Boats and the Lightwater Express amongst other things. There are over 40 rides and attractions in total and we think this is excellent value for money too. If you book your tickets in advance online you can save even more money and beat the queues.

Fountains Abbey - HG4 3DY

about 19 Miles

This is an outstanding world heritage site located close to Ripon in the North Yorkshire area. Nature lovers will be in their element with an abundance of wide open spaces to explore and there are special guided tours for families. Some of the highlights may include seeing wild deer and bats during your visit. The grounds are fantastic to wander round but there is also an Elizabethan Mansion, Victorian Church, Georgian Water Garden and the finest example of Cistercian Abbey ruins in the country - Well worth a visit!
