Easy to find, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. In a great location for exploring the moors or dales, or just walking from the accommodation in any direction. Little store across the road for any forgotten essentials and firewood. The owners were so friendly when we spoke to them, but they leave you to get on with your holiday. WOW. we were lucky enough to book for a week over Xmas. Myself,my partner & our golden retriever Charlie. There is absolutely nothing to fault. The barn had ever you could require for the perfect get away. Now expense spared. Beautifully designed. The paddock was amazing. Our boy had the best of times running freely. We felt relaxed and welcomed. A lovely welcome hamper and Xmas decorations on arrival. Highly recommended for the perfect time away. I'm quiet fussy. But you wont be disappointed.

We booked a week's holiday in Brewery Barn and are so glad that we found this gem. Emma emailed us a week prior to arriving with an incredibly comprehensive welcome pack that helped us plan our stay the barn and the local area. The barn itself has been designed to the highest specification (Farrow & Ball paint; walk-in wet room shower etc.) and the attention to detail was impeccable (Christmas tree, decorations etc.). We can't recommend Brewery Barn enough and will be returning in 2023.

This is a recommended day out for families with young children visiting the Bedale area of Yorkshire. Visit the farm and receive a warm welcome as well as a guided tour. You will have the chance to bottle feed the lambs, bath a pig and handle some of the smaller animals. Kids will love the big sandpit and the outdoor play area. There is also a cafe and indoor play area for when the weather is not on your side.

Lightwater Valley - HG4 3HT

about 14 Miles

Situated in the Ripon area of North Yorkshire this popular theme park makes a fantastic day out for the whole family. The more daring will love the big and thrilling rides such as Raptor Attack, The Ultimate and Trauma Tower. For the little ones there are some excellent attractions such as Flying Camels, Dodgems and a Magic Wheel. Toddlers will like the Dragon Boats and the Lightwater Express amongst other things. There are over 40 rides and attractions in total and we think this is excellent value for money too. If you book your tickets in advance online you can save even more money and beat the queues.

This is an outstanding world heritage site located close to Ripon in the North Yorkshire area. Nature lovers will be in their element with an abundance of wide open spaces to explore and there are special guided tours for families. Some of the highlights may include seeing wild deer and bats during your visit. The grounds are fantastic to wander round but there is also an Elizabethan Mansion, Victorian Church, Georgian Water Garden and the finest example of Cistercian Abbey ruins in the country - Well worth a visit!
