This is without doubt a super Lodge. The peace & quiet was wonderful, the only sounds were the birds. It is comfortable, has everything you need, is clean & tidy. The hot tub is a real bonus. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners, who are both friendly and welcoming. This is a real treat.

Hill View Cabin is perfect for those wishing to stay in peace & quiet surrounded by wildlife. The Lodge itself is to a high standard very comfortable set in an acre of landscaped decked zones and gardens. The beds were comfy & the bathroom was to a high spec - the hot tub was a real treat (used daily) The dogs loved trotting around the lodge freely . We explored the surrounding areas & can recommend Forge Valley Inn, Dawnay Arms & Fox & Rabbit Pickering for excellent pub food.

What a wonderful cottage! This was our second visit - we came last year and loved it so much we couldn't wait to come back. The cottage is modern and extremely comfortable with excellent beds and great wifi and tv, and a very well equipped kitchen. The hot tub is fantastic - we used it a lot and especially enjoyed it at night, even in February. The location is incredibly quiet and peaceful - we enjoyed chatting with the pygmy goats up the lane! Overall we had a lovely holiday.

Amanda and Brian have thought of everything you could need and also covered everything our furry babies needed who even got a treat in our welcome basket .
