A homely barn conversion resting in the scattered village of Staintondale on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors. Situated over two floors with a charming interior, this cottage is equally perfect for families, friends or travellers.

The ground floor boasts a cosy lounge with a large woodburner to elevate those cooler evenings and overhead beams to really set the scene. A country cottage kitchen lies close by, along with a well-appointed bathroom.

To reach the bedrooms, the first staircase leads up to a twin and a double bedroom, each wrapped in exposed beams and Velux windows, whilst the second stairway takes you to a beautiful mezzanine overlooking the peaceful fields. Note: This property can be booked with Ref.

A lovely stay, thank you! Everything was spotlessly clean and so wonderfully quiet. Great location, not too far from anything really. We will definitely look to stay here again in the future.

We had a 3 night stay with our two girls and we all loved it the photos dont really do the size of the place any justice the location is great and being out in the coast and country its a short drive to anywhere. We will definitely make a return visit but maybe in the summer when the nights are longer so we can make good use of the outdoor space. Thank you.

Fabulous location, excellent converted barn with all the facilities you need. Very comfortable and warm inside despite the cold weather outside. Would definitely return.

Our 2nd visit to Hayloft A beautiful cosy lodge, very clean and fabulous location. The owners are lovely, very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to everyone and we will be returning again.

The Hayloft was just perfect, spacious for the 6 of us. Kitchen was well equipped and great to have a washing machine and dishwasher. The hot tub was such a great addition for the evenings to chill together and chat. Nice to have the garden to play as well. Location great for exploring the North Yorkshire Coast, a car is needed as the location is rural but lovely as so peaceful.My only suggestion would be to have another toilet, there were many occasions where the children were crossed legged!! A great holiday, would definitely recommend.

Our Hayloft review: Amazing property, stunning views. Central location for places of interest and some lovely pubs for food. Didnt want to come home! Only comment which may be a little petty, one of the kids dropped a piece of jewellery on the settee. Whilst rummaging between and behind cushions to retrieve was a little disappointed to come across a very large accumulation of crumbs and other bits, never a good feeling plunging hands into the unknown, this was a little shocking. One good swipe of a hoover nozzle would clear this.

Lovely spacious cottage in beautiful surroundings, perfect for a relaxing getaway to escape from the daily hustle and bustle. the cottage was modern, clean and provided everything you need for a few days away, x

We had a wonderful stay at the hayloft. We are a family of grandparents , children and grandchildren and stayed for a week. Plenty of room , plenty of parking , great facilities and everything you need to have a lovely holiday.

Wonderful cottage which is even more spacious that it looks on the photos. The location is so peaceful yet driving to the nearest towns of Whitby and Scarborough was not difficult. The Hayloft had everything we needed for our stay couldnt fault it at all. Immaculately clean and very well equipped. Would highly recommend and hope to return again one day

Hayloft is prefect for a relaxing week away. Has everything you need plus amazing views from the jacuzzi. Highly recommend
