Victoria
The Nook is a beautiful, warm and cosy cottage in a delightful village. Paul, the host, was very welcoming and helpful and left us an amazing welcome basket with some lovely treats. The hot tub was a real luxury and the pubs in the village were very welcoming and did some lovely food too. Will definitely be back soon. Thank you
Cassandra
What a lovely little find The Nook was. It had everything we needed for a fabulous weekend away. So cosy and plenty of walks from the front door with our dog Riley although Scarborough and Bemton Cliffs are not far away. Just a tip take some bird seed for the birds which there is a variety. Also the garden was fully enclosed so didnt have to worry about the Riley the dog exploring whilst we were in the hot tub. Dont let the pub next door put you off no noise what so ever & Paul the owner was very accommodating but not intrusive. Wouldnt hesitate coming back to The Nook in the summer months so we could sit outside in the garden with a drink.

Absolutely stunning house and location. ..lovely walks along the Cinder Path. Facilities in the house were lovely. Such a stunning home, warm, cozy and quirky. Right next door to a pub which is an added bonus as well as the hot tub. Host was very friendly and welcoming, and locals friendly too. Would definitely recommend to friends and would definitely return

Our The Nook at 29 High Street review: Absolutely stunning cottage. Beautifully furnished, very comfortable, warm & cosy. Lovely comfortable bed with quality bedding. Fab bathroom with a good size bath and powerful overhead shower. There is a good size oven and ample pots & pans for cooking with. Washing machine which we didnt need to use but good to see one there. Great secure garden for the dog and a hot tub that we didnt get to use as it was a tad cold outside! The cottage and garden were immaculately clean and very welcoming. Lots of nice goodies on a welcome tray, even some treats for the dog which was a lovely touch. This was really appreciated. Paul the owner stopped by on our first day to introduce himself & check everything was OK for us. This place was a real home from home and we didnt want to leave. Already booked a return visit, hopefully the weather will be kinder and well get to try the hot tub!

This is the second visit and yet another amazing holiday. We did have an issue with the hot tub which was resolved and did not affect our stay. Can't wait to visit again
Jackie
Wonderful property, nicely furnished, clean and comfortable, good location, well appointed kitchen. Always a thoughtful welcome pack of goodies including treats for the dog. Our first choice property in the area with a great host. Already booked again for our 3rd visit.

Lovely stay with the family. Cottage was perfect and well equipped, with a lovely welcome hamper. Perfect location for exploring the North Yorkshire coast.
We were delighted with the house and our stay. The only facilities we would have appreciated being available are reading lamps in the living room. Thank you Paul. Valerie and Martin
