Lovely place only 2 things I didnt like the mattress was stained and didnt like to pay the extra 50 for the hot tub should be included in price as that was expensive. But lovely place

Cottage stay were fine, no problems occurred. Lovely hot tub and great area to explore. We did leave a couple of things at the cottage and asked the owner to post back to us and paid for the postage. The owner read the messages but completely ignored us and didnt reply and never posted our belongings either.

Kaitkyella Lodge is a wonderful getaway,we love it and stayed many times. Peace and quiet mixed with the ability to get around easily. Views are fabulous from the back and the hot tub with the farm animals putting in an appearance from time to time. Could do with a wheely bin with a lid out the front to prevent any spills from wind. Well done to all for a great stay again, see you all again next year. Thankyou.
Wonderful property. so sorry we could not stay longer. hopefully we can go again.

We just loved our stay here. It was so peaceful, and the property is so spacious, private and comfortable. The full wall of windows overlooking the valley give magical views. We enjoyed watching the proud Canada Geese parents, with their six little goslings, parading around the pond and the field. Also Moorhens with chicks. The garden is sheltered, but gets afternoon and evening sun. Perfect for a BBQ and a glass of wine. It's perfectly placed for exploring the East Coast, and so close to all the little coastal villages and towns. We had a different beach walk every day, for a week. Lots of pubs nearby, with great food, and friendly staff and customers. I shall be recommending to our friends!!
Our Kaitkyella Lodge review: Overall a very nice cottage in a lovely setting, very well presented and as ... Overall a very nice cottage in a lovely setting, very well presented and as described except there is no fire, crockery could do with replacing but otherwise a very pleasant stay

Cottage was lovely, cosy and comfy. I just felt it was lacking extra towels for the hot tub only having 2 for a week and sharing it with hot tub and shower especially when you have shower before hot tub and after, no robes or outside shoes again most I have visited supply these as walking through the property with wet feet. Lack of kitchen supplies, no welcome hamper which again first time I have had nothing, milk or bread would of been nice to keep us going. No spare bin bags and no instructions on where to place rubbish, only one bin outside but 2 recyclable inside? No hand soap in the bathroom but moisturiser? Upstairs remote blinds batteries not working in the remote control. 2 other controls on the fireside but nothing to say for what? Fire mentioned in description on Sykes info but no fire.
A great home and location. Hot tub was lovely, great views, butcher shop too was great. Everything you could ask for.
Property is situated in a lovely area , and the property itself is just perfect for a getaway especially if you go just as a couple . Will definitely be booking again .

Kitchen area was not well equiped, ie no scissors and only 1 tea towel. More bathing towels are needed in light of the hot tub. Some hooks to hang coats would have been helpful. The hot tub was lovely and well maintained we did enjoy our stay and only point out these things in the hope of being helpful. Thank you.
