Great location for visiting York and Beverley and the house was just about perfect for our family birthday celebration. We also used their recommended personal chef as a treat who were excellent. Our only slight reservation was around the bathrooms and an extra toilet in the en suite would have improved the experience. All round we would highly recommend Harford House.

The house was absolutely beautiful, the pictures do not do it justice. It was beautifully decorated and of a very high standard. The hot tub room was also an excellent space and the garden space is huge. We were greated on arrival and were given a lovely welcome gift, the host was very thoughtful throughout our stay and checked in to make sure everything was OK for us, they even recommended a local taxi firm which we used. They were also excellent. Just to bare in mind there are only 2 showers and two toilets in the property if there are larger groups going to stay. The location was great, it was a lovely little village with a couple of pubs. I'd definitely recommend, and will hopefully return one day. We created some great memories in this house.

We had a family weekend away at Hartford house and loved every moment of it. The property itself is stunning make sure you read the history of the house in the folder provided! The big garden is perfect for the dogs and kids to run around in in the sunshine. The inside of the house has been decorated and styled beautifully. Everything you need is provided, even down to cosy blankets to snuggle up in. We had a very small issue whilst we were stayi mg at the house, I contacted the host with ease and they got the issue sorted straight away! We will definitely be visiting again.

We had a lovely stay at Harford House. The property is beautiful and we could not fault the cleanliness at all. We arrived to a birthday card, cake and Prosecco as well as having fresh eggs delivered during our stay. Everyone commented on how gorgeous the house was and I would definitely recommend booking. Location is great with pubs, coffee shops, and take aways a very short distance away. Im sure we will be back!

Had a fantastic stay at Harford House, it was beautifully furnished and even better in reality than the pics. We came in December when the weather was awful, but the house made up for it. The real log fires were amazing, the hot tub was fab and the Christmas decorations were beautiful. We arranged for Sami to come and give us all massages at the house sorted through the owners in advance and that was a real treat. The owners were fantastic, met us on arrival, equipped the house with provisions to get us going, left homemade gin and fresh eggs, milk, mince pies and logs for the fire etc. They were easy to contact if any queries and we would not hesitate to recommend a stay here. Truly a fantastic place for a large group to enjoy some quality time together.

We had an amazing stay at Harford House for my husband's 60th birthday celebrations with the family. A great venue for a family gathering. The house is beautifully furnished & spotlessly clean. The hosts Lisa & Adi were super helpful and accommodating on our arrival. All in all could not have wished for a better location.

An absolutely beautiful house! We received such a warm welcome from Lisa and Adi with fresh eggs, cake and other lovely touches. Every room was absolutely gorgeous, the house was immaculate and so very cosy. We had a lovely family get together and really enjoyed our stay! The hot tub was amazing too! There was a bakery, butchers, shop and pubs within walking distance. Our dogs loved it and we would definitely recommend this property it was perfect for us!

Had a fabulous week at Harford House. Amazing friendly.hosts met us on arrival. They went above and beyond helping organise birthday cake, balloons, and proseco on ice and even set it all up for our arrival in the spa room. Just amazing. Welcome pack was so thoughtful and really appreciated milk, freshly baked bread, butter, fresh orange, coffee, biscuits, fudge and fresh eggs from the farm. Lovely surprise. The house was so clean, had everything you could wish for and fabulous decor ... came home with some good ideas for my own home!. Quality fixtures and fittings throughout and felt very homely. Great pet friendly garden and amazing spa room with hot tub, plenty spa towels and even had heaters for chilly nights. Location was just perfect, local butchers, bakers, supermarket, chinese, pizza place and chip shop all on your doorstep and only 30 min ride to York, outlet shoppjng and lovely town Beverley, an hour to Pickering, Malton etc. Lovely garden centre 5 mns away to visit on a rainy day that catered for dogs and served lovely coffees. Pub across the road. So many lovely places to visit in the area. Highly recommended and we will definitely return. Xx

Lovely couple who have transformed their former residence into a tasteful holiday let. Nice setting for easy access to York, Beverley and coast. Always a personal thing but the mattresses were super super soft so much so I could feel the slats when I sat down on the bed. We all enjoyed our stay.

What a beautiful property! Tastefully decorated, everything immaculately clean. We recieved a very generous welcome hamper with tasty treats and beverages. The owners are so friendly and great communication. Love the hot tub 'den' easy to sit and enjoy a drink and music whilst not being separated from those wanting to take a dip. Infant friendly, stair gate, cot and highchair. Only suggestion I would say is some plastic crockery and beakers for younger ones would be a good add on. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and sure will be making a return. Thank you so much.

What a fantastic place. Beautiful, well appointed, comfortable and private, with such a brilliantly huge and secure garden that the dogs and the children absolutely loved. The hosts were wonderful, their communication was excellent and they were even kind enough to provide some snacks as well as a gorgeous homemade lemon drizzle cake for our arrival! This house is beautiful in a lovely little village, we stayed for a weekend and didn't want to leave! The hot tub area and facilities are fantastic, the hosts were very friendly and welcoming, they catered to every need. It's the special touches that madethe experience. Strikingly attractive home that is immaculately presented inside and out. Comfortable furnishings all round and a spacious kitchen diner for family meals..and its right across the road from a lovely country pub called Ye Old Red Lion so whats not to like?! The second pub in the village, the Blacksmiths Arms, were even kind enough to arrange a Spain win in the Euro 24 final when the men headed along there to watch

We have just returned from the most amazing stay at Harford House 10 of us to celebrate 60th birthdays and it was simply perfect in every way attention to detail was awesome and so many extra little touches including flowers and cake eggs and fizz. The owners should be so rightly proud of their beautiful home and our weekend was further enhanced if possible by the private catering company who operate from the village and supplied a fine dining black tie event for us on Saturday. The cottage was beautiful inside and out. The village the property is sustained in is lovely and people are very friendly. It has a pub serving food across the road, a local bakery, Chinese takeaway and convenience store. I would definitely recommend this cottage, and will most likely be booking again.

Cant give enough praise to the accommodation, the furnishings , our welcome and Lisa and Adi who were absolutely brilliant in helping us with any advice through out our stay. All the family were blown away with everything including the chill out time in the den and hot tub.

We had our whole family stay at Harford House. We honestly couldnt have asked for more. The owners where so accommodating and kind, nothing was a bother and they went above and beyond for us, even leaving birthday cards for 2 family members, cake, fizz and beer. The property itself was outstanding, the rooms where immaculately clean and decorated to a very high standard. The outdoor area and hot tub room was perfect, we had our 2 little dogs with us who ran around out there all day. The location of the house is also perfect, pub just across the road which serves beautiful food, bakery, shop and takeaway all within 5 mins walking distance. The most gorgeous, comfortable stay for a weekend hen party! We booked Harford House for a nine guest hen party and couldnt be more thrilled with the property, Lisa and Adi were so kind and generous leaving delicious provisions, home baked bread, eggs from their farm and Prosecco which went down very well! The hot tub was a huge highlight for the party, and the house is beautiful, so well furnished with everything you need and more. Location is lovely with a little pub and shops nearby, and York a 40minute taxi away! Could not recommend enough!

The place was just as beautiful in reality as the pictures. The owners have stunning taste! Every part of the house is immaculate and we cant wait to come back! The finishing touches such as a freshly baked cake, farm eggs, fresh coffee all laid out for our arrival was just so lovely. This property is absolutely amazing. Beautifully presented and extremely well appointed. The welcome from Lisa & Adi was very warm and left us with a great welcome package including a bottle of pink Prosecco and a box of eggs from their hens. We particularly loved relaxing in the garden with a glass, a book and the dogs. The house was also a great base for visiting the many tourist locations.

Hartford House is amazing, I can'trecommend it enough. The owners have decorated it a very high standard. They have thought of everything for guest comfort, from a jar of dog treats to towels for hot tub. Their welcome gifts where outstanding and very generous. The rooms are very spacious, very comfortable beds and the open plan kitchendining room is where we spent most of our time, it's a really social and comfortable space with a beautiful fireplace. The garden is also beautiful, large and a separate enclosed space for dogs. The hot tub den is also amazing, a beautiful space to relax. The owners are lovely, really helpful and genuinely care about your stay. This is reflected in their attention to detail in furnishing this house and ensuring we had everything we wanted. We all loved it, I can't recommend it enough.

Thank you for such a welcoming home. We were here to celebrate an 80th and a 40th the house was perfect. The attention to detail surpasses our expectations even supplying fresh flowers coffee wine and delicious treats! Everything was of the best quality and we were impressed with the amount of logs provided for the fires. The hot tub area was very inviting and we had no problem with feeling cold with the heaters that were provided. We came with 4 dogs and the utility area provided us with all we needed to keep them clean in a very wet and muddy time! We would love to return in better weather to enjoy the outside area. Thank you for letting us stay in your wonderful home we will certainly be back!

What a beautiful big house styled lovely and all fresh bedding and towels perfectly situated in Holme upon spalding moore with everything you need to hand & pub that does good food steps away from house. Hot tub was enjoyed by some of my party if i had to say anything i would say a barn door or something is needed for the bad weather as area is too large to heat Will revisit as enjoyed by all and Lisa & Adrian were great hosts

We had a brilliant stay over new year at Harford House. Beautiful building with lovely decorated rooms. the large open plan kitchendining room with open fire was the highlight!
