We had a lovely stay at Bracken Cottage and would happily return. The facilities were excellent and the beds were so comfortable. We didnt use the hot tub much but that was because we went out quite a bit and didnt always have time to heat it up. The welcome basket was a really nice touch and the children loved their surprise Easter gift from the owners. Would definitely recommend great cottage in a great location for York and surrounding areas.

Very clean, well maintained, high quality, well equipped cottage. It has everything one needs for a lovely stay. Hamper was a lovely touch and a folder of places of interest etc. Peaceful location with a small private outdoor area a couple of tubs of plants would brighten up the outside area! . Overall I couldnt fault it.

We have just enjoyed a lovely weeks stay in Bracken Cottage. Beautifully maintained to a very high standard, comfortable bed, excellent kitchen facilities, ideal location with plenty of places to explore. Thank you for the great welcome pack. The only issue was with the gorgeous leather sofa it was too low to sit in because getting up out of it was too difficult. The dining chair was fine to sit on for a week , we would definitely stay there again.

Really nice property in a great location. Very clean and tidy and the hot tub is a must.

Beautifully presented property, it looked like we were the first occupants despite it being open for a couple of years. Everything you could hope for was provided and generally well equipped. Dog friendly with some lovely touches like a blanket, towel and treats supplied. The location is excellent for exploring York and the amenities in nearby Pocklington are ideal. We thoroughly recommend this property.

Gorgeous cottage with everything you need for a relaxing stay

Lovely bungalow,I think the owners need to put a walk way to the hut tub as the chipping's that they have put down are not very smooth underfoot,and possibly put a patio area where the table and chairs are, if you have children there is nowhere they could play outside. The bungalow is to a good standard and every thing you need is there,we found that the sofa was a bit small four 4 people, i would of had two 2 seater settees.

Loved our stay at Bracken Cottage, accommodation was spotlessly clean, beds were comfortable, the kitchen had all the equipment needed during our stay. Loved the hot tub, we were a little worried because weve never used a wood burning one before but soon got the hang of it. Overall it was an excellent short break and the hamper provided on arrival was a lovely touch. Would thoroughly recommend staying there. We will definitely be returning.
