On the farm there are plenty of alpacas and sheep; you might even catch lambs in the spring! Upstairs play host to three bedrooms, including two doubles and a twin, each complete with fresh linen.

Serving the bedrooms are two shower rooms, with one on each floor, so you can start the morning with a quick rinse before tackling the day. Situated in a pleasant village of Loversall, there is Annabel’s Café nearby where you can enjoy a cup of coffee following an outdoor ramble, along with a nearby convenience store, handy for picking up the essentials.

Nearby is this wonderful Yorkshire Wildlife Park, home to over 500 animals across 100 species, perfect for a family day out. Four miles away is the market town of Tickhill, home to a wide selection of pubs, wine bars, restaurants and cafes, while Bawtry is slightly further away and offers a similar atmosphere, with many independent businesses including retail and food.

Steph was accommodating when contacted. On arrival key was not found so called Steph who said it was in the front door but the door was locked. We had to call her again and she apologised. Facilities were in poor condition and needs updating. The cleanliness really needs assistance. Under the mat there was mass loads of mess. We requested a vacuum. Alot of cleaning products were purchased The sofas contained a lot of dust which you could see especially in the light which was off putting. The fridge didn't keep things as cool as it should. Hot tub didn't heat over 35deg. We found a dish in the cupboard full of mould and a tub of ear buds from 25 years ago. Really does need sprucing up. When we requested the bbq, we were asked to clean it before using it. The games room was in a bad state so avoided using it. Lovely location but property needs alot of attention. Thank you.

Very Dirty and not hygienic, the couch was disgusting. We did not stay at the property, we left 25 minutes after arriving and moved to another property provided by another site. Never again will I trust Sykes, I'm having to fight for my money returned.
We stayed across Christmas time. The property was warm, comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated with lots of lovely festive finishes. The hot tub wasnt overlooked and the garden had a functional, stylish seating area. We had plenty of car park space for 4 cars. We were a bit short on baking trays and there was no washing machine or tumble drier. This didnt detract from the charm of the cottage or the good time we had across mini break together as a family
I had a very pleasant stay at Church View. The house was lovely and warm apart from the large glassed area in the lounge, which I think could do with curtains for the winter. However it was extremely handy for visiting my family in Edlington with my dog so I am very grateful for the proximity. Locals were very friendly and able to inform me where to take my dog for a walk. It is more conducive for wedding accommodation for the farm next door, which I think is its main purpose. Wifi good but not TV reception.

The property is set in a lovely location and is a very good size. When we have arrived the property was really dirty, no mattress protectors on the beds, no toilet brush cleaning, the hoover was full, mop is old style, not really cleaning but moving dirt around. We have contacted the owner and she was willing to come and clean, but we had personal reasons to not have anyone coming in. She was very responsive to all the comments, kindly brought us few extra bits we have asked and assured there will be a thorough clean after we leave. The hot tub is wonderful, back garden is comfortable and sheltered. The property needs wall paint refresh, few hooks on the doors and for the towels. But all these did not spoil our stay make a difference when the owner is helpful and friendly.
