Buttercup Lodge Reviews

Wonderfully finished with attention to detail. The location was perfect, the lodge was exceptionally clean and the welcome goodies were lovely. Thankyou for accommodating our short notice booking it was just what we needed. Rest, relaxation and no distractions from the outside world.
We had the most incredible stay at buttercup lodge! This was our first time here and we will definitely be becoming regulars! It was exactly what we needed for a 4 night break of pure relaxation! The lodge was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated and we felt right at home the second we arrived! We are already looking at booking again!
We booked buttercup lodge for my partners birthday weekend and it was an absolute pleasure! The lodge was so clean and well presented, everything you need was provided down to the little details. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we would most definitely be returning, thankyou for having us!

This lodge is perfect mini break. Extremely well equipped, cosy and relaxing. The hosts went above and beyond even lighting the hot tub ready for our arrival as we were running late!
Amazing hosts and accommodation with excellent facilities, would highly recommend for anyone to go here, great walks, local pubs and scenic views from the lodge.

Amazing Peaceful Easter Weekend! Thank you so much to Michelle and Geoff I went alone to Buttercup Lodge to 'get off the world' for 4 nights. Honestly, I felt such a sense of peace and was so stressfree, from the first hour I arrived... its just a very quiet, beautiful place.. bunnies and baby bunnies running around every morning on the grass in front of the lodge very seasonal for Easter! The hot tub was great for 2 afternoons but when the hurricane winds and rain moved in the log burner inside was even better! All the logs and kindling I needed, and a Prosecco and Lindt truffles left for me to enjoy! Oh and the Easter bunny left me a creme egg too! Everything is EXACTLY as described ladies, there is a hairdryer if you're wondering and more than enough towels! I will definitely return its an hour from me but so far removed from citycentre living it could be a different country. I feel lucky to have found it, lodge 3 is being built and the train carriage conversion will be just fab! HUGE thank you to Michelle for being the perfect hostess... I loved it!

What an amazing place, the lodge was absolutely perfect. A great weekend away relaxing, will definitely be back. Thank you
The lodge was perfect, clean, comfortable, cosy and very picturesque. The host was lovely and came to greet us when we arrived, he told us if we needed anything at all just send them a message. He talked us through how to use the hot tub, we did over do it with the logs the first night and it was too hot to get in. But by the second night we had mastered the quantity needed. Could not fault it at all and would definitely book a getaway here again in the future.
