The cottage is very spacious, generally well equipped, in a lovely location and is ideally situated for Richmond and other local attractions. It has a huge front and back garden which can be sued for playing games, having a picnic or just relaxing. It also has a large hot tub which was the icing on the cake!

This is a lovely cottage with a great location. It has everything you would need, warm, clean and very comfy. It is on its own at the end of a long drive, so is very quiet. It's very handy for Richmond for eats etc and there is a local pub which does give pub grub. We had a most enjoyable stay.

We loved our stay at Broom Barn. The setting is beautiful - its amazing to have such a big garden and uninterrupted country views. Its a lovely, spacious property with everything you need for a relaxing week away. As new parents we found the dressing room really helpful for night feeds etc. Gilling West is a cute village and it was great to be able to walk to the pub. Absolutely stunning cottage. The views and the grounds surrounding the cottage were amazing. Its very spacious and has everything you need including all the utensils etc in the kitchen and fresh towels/linen. The hot tub was big enough for all 6 of us to fit in comfortably and was a really nice addition to the property. Its only a short walk to 2 p ubs along some relatively quiet country lanes. We had a really nice stay here and would definitely return for another one in the future.

The first floor offers a great family space and the bedrooms are all finished to a high standard. This is a recommended day out for families with young children visiting the Bedale area of Yorkshire. Visit the farm and receive a warm welcome as well as a guided tour. You will have the chance to bottle feed the lambs, bath a pig and handle some of the smaller animals. Kids will love the big sandpit and the outdoor play area. There is also a cafe and indoor play area for when the weather is not on your side.

Situated in the Ripon area of North Yorkshire this popular theme park makes a fantastic day out for the whole family. The more daring will love the big and thrilling rides such as Raptor Attack, The Ultimate and Trauma Tower. For the little ones there are some excellent attractions such as Flying Camels, Dodgems and a Magic Wheel. Toddlers will like the Dragon Boats and the Lightwater Express amongst other things. There are over 40 rides and attractions in total and we think this is excellent value for money too. If you book your tickets in advance online you can save even more money and beat the queues.

This is an outstanding world heritage site located close to Ripon in the North Yorkshire area. Nature lovers will be in their element with an abundance of wide open spaces to explore and there are special guided tours for families. Some of the highlights may include seeing wild deer and bats during your visit. The grounds are fantastic to wander round but there is also an Elizabethan Mansion, Victorian Church, Georgian Water Garden and the finest example of Cistercian Abbey ruins in the country - Well worth a visit!
