Blackcap Reviews

Fantastic long weekend stay for my partners 30th birthday lovely lodge in a nice peaceful area with amazing views. Everything I could have asked for and more. Rob messaged before arriving to ensure the Hot tub was ready for our arrival. Will deffo be returning and recommending to friends and family. Thank you
What can I say about this place it exceeded so many expectations. It provided not just a relaxing retreat, but everything within the lodge was done to such a high specification. The hot tub was amazing and the grounds are simply beautiful, My partner and I have already booked again for a long weekend in May. A really special place and cannot wait for our second visit, Thanks to the owner for the communication prior to our stay. I cannot recommend enough.

This was a perfect getaway to celebrate my girlfriends birthday. Rob was such an amazing host, messaged before me we left London to ensure the hot tub would be ready for us on arrival. They have a lovely welcome hamper and overall very clean, peaceful and private. Ill definitely be booking again!
We visited for my partners birthday celebration blackcap was amazing, a truly beautiful and scenic area, and the cabin was immaculate. Hot tub was lit ready for our arrival, which included bubbles and lights.
We had the best time here at Blackcap and would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a quiet and peaceful area with some animals from the local farm and beautiful birds that came to visit most days.

Great cottage, loved the location. Great spot for a weekend of walking and relaxing.
An amazing stay in a beautiful place. The lodge was excellent and had everything we could have needed. It was immaculately clean and very well resourced. Located in a perfect area to explore North Yorkshire. Rob was very welcoming and had the hot tub ready for our arrival. We 100 recommend this lodge for a lovely stay. We will be recommending and back ourselves! Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Me and my girlfriend have recently returned from Blackcap following a stay for our 1 year anniversary and we both found it absolutely faultless, one minor gripe that we both havehad is that oven gloves and tea towels could be provided for the kitchenette, this aside we both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the pheasants, guinea fowl and other local wildlife poking about near the premises gave a lovely rural touch to a modern countryside retreat both already looking to book again for next year
Robert
The owners were great there if required and never intrusive. All was very clean hot was excellent plenty of supplies to keep you going only problem was the weather. Only fault was the shower in the bathroom as this could not be used as this flooded the lodge as we found out first time used and only time used this needs sorting urgently. This is the only problem and did not spoil our stay which was great and would stay again.
