Beech Tree Lodge Reviews

Kieran
Lodge was lovely inside with good facilities. Plenty of crockery and utensils and equipment to cook in the lodge if you want though the oven is not fan assisted so takes a little longer than we were used to when cooking. WiFi and TV were both working well and good quality which was nice. The lodge could have benefited with additional chest of drawers or alternative in place of bedroom bath for more storage. Bedroom lacked curtains, meaning it was very bright in the mornings which had us wake up early everyday! The hot tub was ready to go on arrival and was in a nice private location with lights and access into the bedroom so no long walks in the cold to get in and out of the lodge to the hot tub! The beech tree lodge is however located close to the main road you drive down to access the holiday park so there is quite a lot of road noise when sitting in the hot tub and also within the lodge.
Fabulous lodge, excellent location, plenty of open space around the lodge. Immaculate condition. King size bed, roll top bath in the spacious bedroom. Patio doors to the back open up to a lovely private sitting area complete with hot tub. Living room, kitchen diner very comfortable again with patio doors opening up onto decked area overlooking green open space. A delightful location and a stunning lodge, highly recommended.

Just what we needed to escape the world for a few days. Becky accommodated us at short notice and everything was perfect. Beautiful, clean, comfortable, well thought out property, with everything you need. Thank you x

Becky is lovely and welcoming. Lodge is lovely and spotless. Little welcome hamper a touching extra. Hot tub amazing especially after a day of sightseeing. I love how the lodges have a ring of trees so its like you enter a secluded world. Seen an owl a couple of times and a rabbit too.
The lodge was perfect, a great way to spend time relaxing. Plenty of open green spaces, plenty of room around the lodges. The hot tub area was totally private, the decking area out front looked out on a large green open space. The loungekitchen area was comfy and spacious. The bed was perfect, super king and the my wife loved the roll top bath in the bedroom. She now wants one at home so thanks a lot for that. Another DIY job put on the list hahaha. Nice dark skies so if you have one, take your telescope or binoculars. We knew about the road noise from a previous review, however this was never a problem outside or inside the lodge. We couldnt have wished for anything better.

Our Beech Tree Lodge review: Wonderful lodge in a very secluded spot. One of the best lodges we've stayed at.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Beech Tree Lodge. Wonderful facilities with comfortable relaxing surroundings. The welcome pack was a lovely touch. Communication was fantastic with any issues quickly solved. Great location for visiting the coast, moors and City of York. Thank you.

The lodge was nice and in a lovely quiet location but the couch in the lounge was a bit small and not very good for snuggling up watching a film. The cooker light wasnt working on the oven. The sink in the bathroom was difficult to lean over due to the wall cabinet above being in the way. Either the cabinet needs to be smaller or the sink needs to be bigger. Few areas of water damage visible on the ceiling in the bedroom need touched up. Also the bedroom would benefit from a tv in there. Also it would have been nice if the owner had told us about the major roadworks going on resulting in a 30 minute diversion to get to the property when they messaged to ask our arrival time.
Fantastic place to stay. Very clean and very homely. Everything that you would need when staying away from home. The only downside is the traffic it starts around 630 in the morning and busy through the rush hour periods If you can live with it then youre on a winner If noise is a problem step away as you wont be happy
