Lovely lodge, clean tidy comphy. We stayed for two weeks and would have liked clean bedding and towels.we found a washing machine two days before we left.if I had know I would have washed them there was no mention of this anywhere.just lacking a little info in the lodge .but wouldn't be put off it was lovely.
Amazing stay only fault was in the field for the dog. Bottom hate was open which we did not realise at first and dog nearly got out. Will definitely be back

The property is well specced everything youll ever need to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible Clean throughout the lodge is situated in nice grounds with plenty of privacy. The hot tub is a fantastic addition There's also dog friendly pub near by and a small supermarket not too far away The beach is a 5 minute walk away WiFi is superb in the property a definite plus I'd definitely stay here again.

Just arrived home from last minute family get away staying in the Mayflower lodge. We literally booked the day we arrived and the whole process was great with no issues at all. We are a family of four and a dog, lodge was great for our needs, the only minor points I would note, two teenagers so small twin room but I guess that's typical of such lodges so didn't detract from my rating or enjoyment either, I also found the double bed springy but I think this must have been me as can't see this mentioned previously i marked comfort down only slightly, also the hot tub was great and lovely and hot on our arrival but it was small and there is no way all four of us would get in and be comfortable on a colder evening but we still enjoyed it and took it I turns, lol! Unlike previous comment no issues with the sliding shower screen, was able to take a shower no problem and it was a good hot and powerful shower. I would definitely recommend, location was great, enjoyed the lodge, wrap around decking, private hot tub area and importantly for us a gate so secure for the dog. Short walk to the lovely local bay and local pub on site, we had a meal one evening in the pub and spent a few hours in Whitby which was a short drive away one day. Lots of places to walk dog too around the lodge. Thank you for our stay!
Our Mayflower Lodge review: Beautiful log cabin nice and clean, comfortable and warm. The cabin has everything you require to enjoy your time there. Only one suggestion going forward you may wish to consider providing Salt and Pepper pots as we did not bring any with us for meals. Great location and plenty to do around the area.
On arrival everything was amazing spotlessly clean and inviting. There was just one thing that we were upset about was the shower it could have by fold shower doors rather than a sliding door as could not use the shower as we couldnt get in and had to have strip washers very disappointed. Maybe this is something you could consider. Apart from that everything was wonderful and we had a lovely relaxing week.

Lovely Lodge, clean, comfortable and well equipped, thoroughly enjoyed our holiday. Weather was good so it was nice to have decking furniture.
Beautiful clean spacious lodges. Slight issue with the WiFi was immediately rectified. Regular maintenance staff around and were all friendly and helpful. Peaceful, clean location yet conveniently located near to the Runswick Bay hotel, which served simple, good quality delicious food. The wok chicken is very popular and the homemade chips are amazing! Be aware of the steep walk down to the bay, although there is limited parking if you get there early! The Lodge was perfect and dog friendly! The decked area with hot tub and seating meant you could easily spend a day relaxing at the Lodge. Would not hesitate to recommend!

Gorgeous lodge with the bonus of a hot tub, very comfortable and clean and facilities provided were great. There was nothing we were without. Situated in a small park, with local pub and close to beach in Runswick Bay. Close enough to visit all coastline attractions like Whitby and Scarborough as well as North Yorkshire railway and national park. Great for dogs
