Had a really lovely stay! The lodge was spacious and super comfy, perfect for four of us. The location was spot on, just a quick walk to the pub. We stayed at this lodge recently and were really impressed. The place was spotlessand the views were absolutely stunning. We loved seeing the peacocks wandering around - such a nice touch! There was plenty of storage in the bedrooms, including dressing tables with mirrors and sockets, which was really handy. The indoor and outdoor seating was super comfy. The towels and kitchen cloths were a nice bonus. The only thing was the hot-tub access - climbing down was tricky if you have mobility issues, but overall, a lovely stay!

We stayed at this lodge both with and without our dogand honestly, it’s a pretty lovely place. The lodge itself is spotless and well-equipped, which we appreciated. The beds aren’t the most comfy, but it’s not a deal-breaker. The location is a bit remote, about half an hour to the nearest lake, so not great if you want quick trips out. With a dog, it’s a bit tricky since the outdoor space is at the back and you can’t just walk directly onto it without going around. No proper walkable area for your pup, which was a shame. Still, for a peaceful retreat, it’s not bad at all!

We had a lovely stay at this gorgeous lodge. The staff were genuinely friendly and super helpful throughout. The Globe Inn pub nearby is a real gem - just a short walk awayand their food and drinks were top notch. We’re already planning to return soon. Definitely recommend it for a relaxing getaway!
Emma
We really enjoyed our stay. The lodge was lovely, with a big space and a gorgeous view to wake up to. When we arrived, there was a nice touch that made us feel welcome. The only thing is, most attractions were about an hour’s drive since it’s quite north, which we didn’t expect. Still, we’d definitely come back again!
